Q: Are your products tested on animals?

A: As per the manufacturer, NO, the GERnetic products are NOT tested on animals. The products are natural and are tested on people (Clinical tests).

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Mr Laporte is the only manufacturer in the world to ask his GERneticians (Estheticians for GERnetic) to take before and after pictures. Gernetic products work, he therefore only allows returns when the product is defective, which never happened in the past twelve years I have been working with the products. Three products of each batch are kept for five years, one at room temperature, one below freezing, one above normal temperature. There is a code number at the bottom of each jar. This number will permit the manufacturer to verify if there is a problem.The only product that might not live to your expectations is Vasco-Artera. Cellulitis will not be reduced if you have severe hormonal problems (You may then want to use the products for the breast to rebalance your system) or tremendous stress. I strongly suggest you ask for a sample (of any product) in case you have some allergies. Allergies show up in 3, 6 or 9 days. Please carefully read the "Contraindications" page before placing an order. If you are allergic, we can help you restore the health of your skin. Please inquire further. Q: Are GERnetic products fragrance free?


A: GERnetic products are free of perfume. Products are however never really fragrance free. Natural products like GERnetic have the smell of the raw materials, which is in this case considered no fragrance by customers. The products contain plant extracts but no essential oils. Essential oils could be much trouble if not used sparingly. GERnetic uses a homeopathic dosage which makes the products not only tolerable to everybody but heals any allergic skin if people use them as directed. The main cream Synchro has been tested in the "burn unit" ( third degree burn) in hospitals for years before being launched on the market. Some GERnetic products may tingle at times, more or less depending on how deficient the skin is. The same product might tingle one day but not the day after. The tingling should stop within a minute. This is nothing to worry about. Allergies are different and are highly recognizable. If you experience a burning sensation that increases instead of decreasing you might have an allergy to the product. Common sense requires you stop using it. Please try a sample (Remember, returns are allowed only when the product is defective), and consult with us.



Q: I noticed that you have two different creams that dissolve blackheads and reduce oil. Octo is a smaller jar, but its price is higher. Why is this? What is the difference between the two products? Which one would you recommend?

A: Octo reaches the cause of the imperfections, namely the digestive system, by bringing nutrients that help clear the condition. Peau Mixte targets only the symptoms. Both work beautifully. The skin is an organ. It is praised for its touch but it is also an organ of excretion just like the kidneys and the colon. If you use TOO MUCH of Octo you will bring what's underneath the skin up to the surface. In other words you are going to break out. If you are in a rush to get rid of your acne that would be THE way to go. But that means that you should then have a facial once a week or every other week in order to deep cleanse the skin. Otherwise you are better off using Peau Mixte.
Octo is a smaller jar but because it targets the cause, it has required more complicated techniques to manufacture it. Therefore it is more expensive. But as you use only a dab it lasts a very long time. My clients love Peau mixte. It works the same but avoids the risk of breaking out. But again, if you use only a dab of Octo you WON'T breakout.
I guess, then, that the choice is yours!

Q: I found Derma doesn't lather. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with my product?

A: Derma doesn't lather. This is on purpose. The more a product lathers, the more chemicals it contains. Derma is meant to cleanse problem skin. It would therefore be a non-sense to incorporate chemicals in it. Derma was first manufactured for surgeons to wash their hands with. As they wash their hands hundreds of times per day it had to be effective but not irritating. Derma cleanses well and is gentle to sensitive skin.

Q: I am a long term user of gernetic products for face as well as body. However, right now I'm pregnant (24 week). Can I use vasco artera and lympho tonic while being pregnant?

A: Absolutely! Lympho and Vasco-Artera will be very beneficial to you. They will relieve the heaviness in the legs that pregnancy brings. It will also minimize or avoid the onset of cellulitis. The two products are not only absolutely safe, they will also benefit the baby because they allow a better circulation of the nutrients you are taking from your food. So it is important that you eat healthy foods. I would also suggest you use Synchro on your breasts and stomach in order to avoid stretchmarks. Happy pregnancy!

Q: I just found a cream I bought quite a while ago. I had misplaced it. Is it still good?

A: The shelf life of the GERnetic products is 4 years from the date they are manufactured. The expiration date is one year further from the date stated on the back of the packaging, next to the bar code.
However, when the jar is open, the live cells the product contains start dying slowly. Meaning after six months the product has lost its efficiency. A skin care routine is only effective when used consistently. We strongly suggest you follow your regimen every day.

Q: Can you be more specific regarding the Immuno/Synchro combination for acne? Can I use only one product? Why can't I use Peau Mixte instead?

A: Immuno counteracts the germs. It prevents and/or kills the staphylococci responsible for the breaking out. Redness most always accompany pimples. This is inflammation. Synchro has natural anti-inflammatory properties. It heals the skin. That is why they work together when there is a breakout.
Peau Mixte reduces the production of oil, preventing acne. Immuno/Synchro are a remedy to acne. A person with oily skin and no breakout would use Derma and Peau Mixte. Not Immuno-Synchro.
By the same token, Immuno and Synchro are also highly anti-aging. Dehydration is one major cause of aging. Because a skin is oily it doesn't mean it cannot get dehydrated. The texture of oily skin is thicker that the one of dry skin. It gets dehydrated in the depth, versus dry skin gets dehydrated on the surface. Due to its thicker texture oily skin gets deeper creases, deep wrinkles. It is easier to prevent wrinkles than to get rid of them. Synchro rebuilds the collagen fibers. It is the Collagen fibers that retain water in the tissues.
Immuno/Synchro is therefore the ideal acne/anti-aging treatment.


Q: I am confused. Is Immuno a mask or a cream? Should I rinse it off?

A: Although it is stated on the jar that Immuno is a mask, very few people indeed use it as such. It is a very high-tech rejuvenator used as an anti-aging tool, as well as a unique formulation to counteract acne. It restores a good immune system naturally, without drugs, detoxifies toxic wastes and promotes wound healing (therefore counteracts wrinkles) and tissue repair. When used as a mask it should be left on the skin for 15 minutes and then rinsed off. As a cream it is used in combination with Synchro and it is not rinsed off. Except for masks none of the GERnetic products should be rinsed off.

Q: I like to switch products and try new ones. I want to go back to using Gernetic. I have a jar of Synchro that have sat in my closet for a while. It is open. Is it still good?

A: GERnetic skin care products contain live cells that get activated when in contact with the skin. When a jar is open you have to use it within 6 months. If you use it and switch to something else and get back to an open jar few months after there is nothing much active in it. The only benefit you would get in that case is the lubrication of the skin through the fatty substances it contains (If they didn't turn rancid!).


Q: I have wrinkles on my forehead, and they bother me. Will they disappear if I use your products? If yes, what products do you recommand?

A: The lines around the eyes, mouth/nose and forehead are not from aging. They are NOT wrinkles but expression lines. Unless you change your personality you cannot avoid them. The products will minimize them by providing suppleness and more pliability to the skin, but do not expect getting rid of them neither with GERnetic nor any other anti-aging beauty products. Sorry!
